According to the Patently Apple portal, it is assumed that the strap of Apple smart watches will receive sensors to monitor respiratory rate, blood pressure and ECG. The patent also suggests integrating a wireless network module into the belt for data exchange.
The patent also states that the same sensors can be placed inside the band to wear the Vision Pro helmet. They can be used on other elastic materials and clothing items. The strap can be charged wirelessly.
The patented solution may not be a strap for the Apple Watch, but it will be made in a fully autonomous smart bracelet form factor. This option is also suggested in the patent.
However, it is not known whether this wearable device will appear; Apple has abandoned many patented solutions at various times.
