The logo expired in the spring of 2025. According to the Californian Apple Inc., its validity period has been extended until the spring of 2035. Registration in the registry was carried out on December 23, 2024.

Apple’s rights to the Apple logo extend to classes 09, 10, 14, 15 of the ICLG.

The American company also extended the exclusive rights to the Apple brand in Russia until 2035.

The patent lawyer of the company Online Patent, Alina Sidorova, explained that the company extended the validity period so as not to lose the rights to the trademark.

Apple suspended sales of its devices in the Russian Federation in March 2022 due to events in Ukraine, Reuters reported. Apple Pay was also limited in Russia.

It has become impossible to order any of the company’s equipment from Apple’s online store, including iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and AirPods. When you try to place an order, a message appears on the screen stating that the purchase is currently unavailable.

Despite the restrictions, suppliers import all types of Apple devices to Russia through the parallel import mechanism without the direct consent of the brand owner, a specific manufacturer or an official distributor.
