More than 12.5 thousand people took part in the True Tech Champ IT championship.

MTS summed up the results of the True Tech Champ in programming and robotics.

This is a series of large-scale annual events from MTS in the Russian IT market with a varied educational and entertainment program. Two-track tournament: individual competition in algorithmic programming and team competition in robotic programming.

In total more than 12.5 thousand applications to participate, but a little more than 250 people made it to the finals: from schoolchildren to current IT specialists. The final stage moved into the format of show coding and robot racing. Participants solved the problem and wrote code for robotic mice to find their way out of mazes with special effects as quickly as possible.

More than 3.5 thousand people attended the show finale; the online broadcast attracted more than 600 thousand viewers.

The prize fund exceeded 10 million rubles.

The winners of the first track were:

1. Alexander Babin (Moscow): 1 million rubles

2. Vladimir Zvezdin (St. Petersburg) and Ivan Piskarev (Moscow): 500 thousand rubles each

3. Alexey Mikhnenko (Moscow), Gimran Abdullin (Kazan), Roman Pervutinsky (Moscow region): 250 thousand rubles each

In the second track there are small commands:

1. “Kittens and Robots”: 4 million rubles

2. ClosedCV (2.5 million rubles)

3. “Micro mice” (1 million rubles)

In lectures stylized as a garage, a stress workshop from MTS recruiters “Bad Social Security”, a team game on logic, a comedy battle “Bad Proger Jokes” and much more.

Many IT stars took part in mathematics and programming olympiads, from co-founders of various international corporations to scientists. Despite the fact that not all of them became prize-winners, the tournaments, according to them, helped change their logical thinking, and also taught them to see opportunities and find non-standard solutions.

Environment shapes personality in many ways, so through our True Tech events we are going to bring together a lot of talented and developed people in one place. This year we have placed an emphasis on teamwork, both in the challenges for participants and in the fun activities on site, to further motivate communication and information processing.

It will be great if we someday find out that the creators of breakthrough projects met at a True Tech conference or conference.

There were more than ten entertainment zones on the instruments, where those who wished could conquer a climbing wall along a route generated by AI, write a code, overcome the tension of a cable, try on the role of a championship finalist and take part in a robot mouse race, take a master class on a toll board, and adult visitors could even punch tattoo

After the award ceremony, famous popular artists will perform for the guests: Anton Tokarev, AVG, Jakone and DJ Konstantin Teleshev.
