The lawsuit says racial harassment and discrimination are “widespread” at Tesla, and the company “does virtually nothing to reasonably prevent or stop this toxic behavior and work environment.”

Plaintiffs include nine men and six women who worked or worked at Tesla factories in California. About half of the plaintiffs have been fired or resigned, with the rest still working at Tesla.

The complaint seeks pecuniary damages and was filed in Alameda County Superior Court.

Ars Technica has contacted Tesla regarding the case, but has yet to receive a response.
