The special inflatable aircraft will fly at an altitude of 18 to 27 km. By undertaking the tracking of hypersonic weapons, they will become just one part of the Pentagon’s rather extensive surveillance network.

It’s worth noting that from 2020 to 2022 alone, the US military spent about $3.8 million on ballooning projects. At the same time, for the 2023 fiscal year it is planned to spend many times more on numerous projects – $27.1 million.
