Users reported on social media that YouTube was experimenting with bringing TikTok-style navigation to long videos. In this new format you can skip to the next video in playback order drag the screen up.
In this new gesture, Dragging the screen from bottom to top will advance to the next available video in the queueIf the content is full screen. Dragging down intuitively takes the user to the previous video.
This is a significant change in terms of usability, as the drag-up gesture is reserved for menu navigation in full-screen playback. Right now, gesture opens list of suggested videosbut without exiting playback mode.
