“After a customer contacted us last week, we removed all of this supplier’s products from shelves and stopped their deliveries. It was found that the manufacturer had violated the bottling technology, so after the incident we refused to continue cooperating with him,” the press service reported.

They added that the company contacted the affected family, expressing its willingness to “assume the costs of the child’s treatment and rehabilitation.”

The Honey Kid brand, according to Rospatent, belongs to Agrotorg LLC. The founder of the latter is PJSC Corporate Center X 5, as follows from SPARK-Interfax data. Now Honey Kid puree has been withdrawn from the Ozon and Wildberries markets, as well as from the online store of the Perekrestok retail chain (also owned by X5).

The poisoning incident occurred at the end of October. The girl ate Honey Kid puree with mango, papaya, apple and banana flavors, which her parents said was produced in Belarus. After some time, the girl developed a fever, rash and nausea, and the girl was then hospitalized with a diagnosis of infectious poisoning, the lawyer and family told Regnum.

According to them, traces of mold were found on the packaging and inside the mash lid. Baby foods are currently undergoing independent testing.
