Apple released iOS 18.2 with new Apple Intelligence technologies on December 9, MacRumors reports.

Update release date based on information from UK operator EE. It told its customers that when the service stops on December 9, authorized professionals can use Wi-Fi calling on iPads and Macs when their iPhone is nearby.

In iOS 18.2 beta 2, the EE operator settings have been updated. The new version is numbered 60.5.2, while iOS 18.2 beta 1 uses version 59.5.1. Probably, in the new version of the operator settings, Apple removed the switch Add Wi-Fi calling to other devices in implementing Wi-Fi calls.

Most updated carrier settings remain with iOS updates, with the exception of minor bug fixes. Therefore, iOS 18.2 may be released on December 9.

Apple itself previously confirmed that iOS 18.2 would be released in December, but this event was not mentioned.
