The Central Bank set the official exchange rate of the US dollar for November 16 at 99.9971 rubles. This is stated in a message on the regulator’s website. The day before, the exchange rate of the American currency on the over-the-counter market exceeded 100 rubles for the first time since October 2023.

The official euro exchange rate on November 16 will be 105.7072 rubles. On November 15, according to the Central Bank, the dollar was worth 99.018 rubles, and the euro was 104.5 rubles.
Since June 2024, the Central Bank has been setting the official exchange rates of the dollar and euro based on data from bank reports on transactions in the over-the-counter foreign exchange market. Before the introduction of sanctions against the Moscow Exchange, fees were set based on the platform’s data on currency transactions.
According to Finam, which publishes quotes on the Russian interbank market, the dollar exchange rate exceeded 100 rubles the day before, on November 14. At its maximum, the American currency was trading at 100.72 rubles.
