On Saturday evening, information appeared on Telegram channels that trading after midnight was available for some customers.
A T-Investments representative told RBC that the company has started testing 24/7 trading, but the timing of the feature’s full launch has not yet been announced. Previously, T-Investments at the T-Bank conference already announced plans to start 24-hour daily operations.
Since 2021, the broker carries out transactions on weekends. At the same time, operations on the Moscow Stock Exchange are not carried out after midnight, on weekends and holidays.
All orders received by T-Investments over the weekend are executed in the over-the-counter market, directly between the seller and buyers who are clients of the broker.
The Bank of Russia is still studying the issue of carrying out stock market transactions on weekends. At the end of September 2024, the Central Bank conducted a survey for investors on the timing of foreign exchange operations.
