The survey showed that 76% of Russians are willing to refuse purchases in the markets due to paid deliveries and returns. TopMarketplace conducted a study of the problems with ordering products on the Internet, 2,000 consumers over the age of 18 participated in the survey.

Almost 80% of Russians are ready to abandon purchases in markets due to paid delivery and return

  • 44% will stop shopping online due to paid returns
  • 32% are ready to leave the markets due to paid delivery.

Consumers also mentioned the biggest problems with ordering products:

  • 36% of those surveyed said that most of the problems arise when choosing a product, when it is out of stock, there is not the right size or color,
  • 31% called long delivery,
  • 18% - damaged or insufficiently accurate packaging,
  • 15% said that the biggest problem is the discrepancy between the expectations of the product and its actual appearance.

39% of Russians treat orders on the markets as a game. To the question "Have you often been disappointed with purchases in Wildberries, Ozon and other markets?" respondents responded that shopping online is always a search. 27% of respondents said that they are often disappointed, 31% answered "no" and 3% said: "I make a surprise order and do not expect fulfillment."
