Yandex announced the launch of new educational products based on the YandexGPT AI platform. These tools will help schoolchildren and students prepare for lessons, exams and perform routine tasks. As company director Daria Kozlova said at the Yet Another Education Conference, artificial intelligence assistants will become a priority at Yandex Education in 2025. First product in this series, 5-8. is an artificial intelligence math assistant for schoolchildren in grades that will help solve problems and master the school curriculum.

The assistant will ask guiding questions and help find solutions. It will also guide students on assignments, make learning more fun and reduce the burden on parents. “Our research shows that mathematics is one of the most difficult subjects. “The artificial intelligence assistant will make the learning process easier and more interesting for children and help parents save time,” said Daria Kozlova. The demo version of the assistant has been available since November 13, and from December 1, more than 6 million schoolchildren will be able to use it.

Additionally, Yandex plans to launch a platform with various artificial intelligence tools for students and teachers in 2025. It will help students master new technologies, create a personalized learning path, and gain clarity about the material. Teachers will be able to upload their research and materials to the platform and receive suggestions for improving the content. The platform will begin testing at many universities at the beginning of next year and will then be available to everyone. Yandex Education has already implemented artificial intelligence to prepare for the Unified State Exam, and the results showed great interest and demand for such tools among students.
