Copilot Actions uses AI to automate essential daily tasks

This Tuesday (19) Microsoft announced Copilot Actions, a complement to the virtual assistant that performs tasks for you. THE The assistant can carry out routine activitiesIt saves time in your work routine.

Launched in preview with limited access, the new Copilot Actions are part of Microsoft 365 Copilot, the company’s software suite. THE assistant automates low-complexity daily tasks.

According to Microsoft, it can create summaries of the most important work items each day, solicit feedback from colleagues on specific days, or present the highlights of a particular document before daily meetings.

In advertising, Microsoft didn’t provide many details about Copilot Actions – Usage examples, restrictions or other illustrations.

New Copilot Actions will be launched in special tests. Microsoft did not specify when the new feature would be available to more people.

Co-pilot further available

But Copilot Actions aren’t the only new feature this time. In the same announcement, Microsoft introduced unprecedented virtual assistant integrations.

The first of these, Copilot Pages, offers an open whiteboard for peer collaboration using artificial intelligence. The space is used so users can interact with each other and the chatbot more organically, requesting blocks of code, tables, and more.

Another addition to Teams: Microsoft Copilot can now understand the content shared on the screen. Assistant will be able to do it soon create presentation summaries, eliminating the need for manual reference. The new feature will be available in early 2025.
