404 Media has obtained access to documents describing the operation of the Graykey device. It is used by these terms to hack iPhones.
According to the documents, most iPhones running iOS 18 or iOS 18.0.1 can be “partially” unlocked, although the exact meaning of this term is not disclosed. However, the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max models can still be fully unlocked.
iOS 18.1 beta is marked as unsupported for unlocking on all iPhones. It is unclear whether this is due to the lack of Graykey optimization for iOS 18.1 at the time of creation of the documents or the security improvements in this version.
Previously, Graykey reported on the use of new password-brute force protection in iOS 18.1, which makes it much more difficult to hack the device. [404 Media]
