Japanese shower head maker Science Co. will unveil a “people washing” device called the Mirai Ningen Sentakuki in early 2025.

Externally, it resembles a capsule from futuristic films. In fact, this is a high-tech bathtub with a working principle.

Firstly, you can only use it while sitting. Secondly, it is equipped with a sealed cabin that rises up so that a person can enter inside.

Once the user sits down on the seat, the tub automatically begins to fill with hot water. Sensors built into the chair measure heart rate and other parameters to select the optimal water temperature.

Artificial intelligence analyzes a person’s state (is he relaxed or tense), and depending on this, projects images on the inner surface of the transparent cover, promoting relaxation.

“Wash and dry” lasts 15 minutes.

Visitors to the Osaka Kansai Expo will be able to test the Mirai Ningen Sentakuki on site. The project is now 75% complete. The company has not yet disclosed the price of the device, but plans to release a version for home use. [Asahi]
