More than half of Russian companies in the second quarter of 2022 introduced or plan to introduce additional formats of psychological assistance for their employees. Atsearch Group and SberZdorovye came to this study result.
The study, the results of which were shared by Kommersant, was conducted among 200 human resources directors or specialized specialists from Russian companies in the IT sector, the banking sector and other industries.
Survey participants said that in 43% of companies, psychologist services are included in VHI packages or purchased separately.
SberHealth claims that the popularity of psychological assistance has been on the rise since 2020, when the pandemic began. This year, in the context of the military operation and the economic crisis, the trend has only strengthened.
According to the service, in the first half of 2022, the number of contracts that include psychological assistance for employees increased 4.9 times, and employers' costs for such projects increased 5.2 times.
In the list of the most sought-after telemedicine specialists of SberHealth in the first half of the year, the psychologist ranked fifth, followed by the therapist, the medical consultant, the pediatrician and the gynecologist.
