The director of Stockmann’s e-commerce department, Sergei Fadeev, said that until 2025 the retailer intends to significantly increase the range of products sold using the marketplace model. This will mainly affect cosmetics, household items, jewelry and possibly children’s products.

Since September 2023, Stockmann has been selling partner clothing as part of the Market 1989 section, created to support Russian designers. According to Fadeev, the market will help local brands increase sales, overcoming the restrictions associated with access to shelves in traditional retail.

The company carefully selects brands and products for its affiliate model. Each new category or brand goes through careful selection, the retailer’s representative noted, noting that Stockmann will continue to develop cooperation with Russian fashion designers and retailers.

In spring 2022, Stockmann registered domains for seven of its own brands: Aurana, Bellucci, D.Molina, Marco Di Radi, Peter Jorgen, Sabrina Scala and Ugo Carducci. Under these brands, it was planned to open separate chains of clothing stores in shopping centers and markets.

In August 2024, Stockmann completed the acquisition of the business of Hugo Boss, who left the country. According to experts, the transaction amount could amount to 700-800 million rubles. The assets themselves were estimated at 1.5-1.8 billion rubles.
