Apple published the list of finalists competing for the annual App Store Awards 2024 this Monday (25). The award recognizes the best applications and games of the year for the brand’s products.. New in this edition is the addition of Vision Pro eyewear categories.
According to the Cupertino giant, there are 45 applications in total, distributed across 12 categories. They were chosen because they offer a better user experience, while also standing out with their design and innovation, helping people connect more easily with their families and friends.
“We’re excited to celebrate this year’s App Store Awards finalists, whose imagination and ingenuity have created incredible apps that users love,” App Store chief Carson Oliver said in a statement. Developers “deliver extraordinary experiences that captivate and inspire,” according to the executive.
The competing list for the best applications and games of 2024 in the App Store was prepared by the editors of the official application store for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and other major technology products. Winners will be announced in the coming weeks.
