There are two processors among the mentioned models. The first is a 16-core Zen 5 chip with a 350W TDP, which will likely be the more affordable option in the Threadripper series for budget workstations. Considering that the current Threadripper 7000X series starts with 24 cores, this could be a big move for AMD.
The second processor is a 96-core model that was previously featured in leaks. Both chips will be compatible with the SP6 (sTR5) socket, which will retain support for existing motherboards.
The Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series is expected to be released next year, but the exact timing has not been announced yet.
