Although the iPhone 16 uses the same camera as the iPhone 15, improvements in image processing have made significant progress.
DxOMark praised the iPhone 16 for providing accurate skin tones, quality color reproduction, and a high level of detail when shooting in well-lit and indoor environments.
However, the camera has limitations such as the lack of a telephoto lens, noise and loss of detail in low light conditions. There are also flare artifacts and limited dynamic range, which can lead to overexposure.
Despite its shortcomings, the iPhone 16 offers impressive value for its category, outselling even Samsung’s top models.
However, it has not yet managed to catch up with the rating leader Google Pixel 9, which received 154 points.
