The device, called a weft placement accelerator, works like a piston engine and is controlled by signals from other parts of the machine, such as an encoder that monitors the angle of rotation of the rotating elements. The accelerator allows you to increase productivity by 40% compared to analogues, and also reduces the cost of the device by 30-35%.

Semyon Burmanov, a graduate student at NSTU Department of Electrical Engineering Systems, noted that the accelerator consists only of domestic components, which increases its sustainability. The kit includes software that allows you to control the accelerator and monitor the process of the machine. The software is universal and adaptable to different types of weaving machines.
