These are experiments aimed at examining the new capabilities and safety of the Neuralink neuroimplant in combination with a robotic surgical arm manipulator. Since it is difficult to control such a robot in principle, tests will show the limits of the functionality of the brain-nerve interface in combination with external and complex devices.
Neuralink is currently looking for volunteers for PRIME among people suffering from quadriplegia (paralysis of all limbs). Test participants will try to control a surgical robot arm with the power of thought alone.
