Together they tested the autonomous aircraft SWiFT. It has two interesting features. First, the drone is a smaller version of another promising drone, the Ghatak. The latter was based on the Russian turbofan engine SWiFT, developed by NPO Saturn specialists.
The flight reportedly took place at a test site in Chitradurga. At the same time, an anonymous source said that during flight tests, experts checked the drone’s ability to take off, maneuver and land autonomously.
It is known that in addition to past tests, engineers had to perform another 10 such test flights. Once completed, the Government of India will provide funding for the development of the Ghatak drone.
