Gmail beat out Google Authenticator, a predictable victory for the iconic email app. Now Gmail is poised to take on Chrome, which secured its place in the quarter-finals by easily beating Google Home.

In another “match,” Google Photos defeated Google One and Google Calendar defeated Google News, establishing the dominance of Workspace apps in this tournament.

In the end, Google Wallet narrowly beat Google Meet and Files took the lead, beating Google TV.
