Kion’s general producer Igor Mishin announced his resignation “due to personal circumstances.” The top manager reported this on his Facebook page*, but the post was later hidden or deleted, RB.RU was convinced. Its text was published by the director Valeria Gai Germanika. In mid-November, searches were carried out at Mishin’s home.

“The employment contract with Igor Mishin was terminated by agreement of the parties due to personal circumstances,” Kion’s press service told RB.RU. No other details were provided in the online cinema.
Mishin wrote on his social networks that November 29 was his last working day at the company. The senior manager noted that he “decided to end his career in the industry,” adding that he had worked in the media business for 35 years.
On November 21, RIA Novosti, the Baza Telegram channel and journalist Ksenia Sobchak reported on searches at Mishin’s house near Moscow. The agency source said that the operational activities were related to the case of “helping Ukrainian terrorists”, during which “prohibited substances were allegedly found in Mishin’s house”, which were sent for examination.
The Telegram channel “112” wrote that the searches of the top manager were carried out in connection with the case of gallery owner Marat Gelman (recognized as a foreign agent), who is being investigated for terrorism.
