Only 70 Steelnovo bikes will be produced, starting at $18,000 each. The frame is made of a special alloy in collaboration with Columbus.
Colnago puts an emphasis on precision, claiming that the tube-to-lug fit is accurate to less than 0.01 millimeters. However, the bike is not all steel. Carbon fiber was used in components such as Campagnolo’s fork, seat post, rims and hubs. Brakes feature custom Campagnolo Super Record parts.
Colnago describes Steelnovo as a combination of heritage and innovation. For those who prefer the more affordable steel option, the classic Master frame is still available for $2,943.
