ITMO students launched Russia’s first free platform for ML hackathons – competitions in which business problems are solved using machine learning. The platform, called Data Secrets, will help companies find IT talent by providing convenient tools for organizing events, from registering attendees to calculating results. The press service of the master’s program of ITMO and the Napoleon IT company noted that the project has become a Russian alternative to the popular Kaggle platform.

The service offers a complete ecosystem to develop a community of data scientists and machine learning engineers. In addition to the website, Telegram channels contain educational materials and tools for career development. The team emphasizes that Data Secrets aims to popularize machine learning, create professional connections, and help businesses master AI solutions.

62 companies have already registered on the platform and more than 3 thousand solutions have been produced. In the future, developers plan to offer personal accounts to organizations so that they can independently run hackathons, publish material and share news. The founders believe that the number of users of the platform can reach 100 thousand people.
