The new model will retain the same features as the original RTX 5090, including 21,760 CUDA cores and 32 GB GDDR7 memory with 1,792 GB/s bandwidth. The price will also remain unchanged at $1,999, which means approximately 16,499 yuan including taxes.
The RTX 5090D, like its predecessor the RTX 4090D, was designed to take into account US export restrictions on China.
But unlike the previous model with reduced characteristics, the new version is not inferior to the original in terms of power. According to experts, possible limitations at the frequency or software level can be easily overcome with BIOS changes.
Versions of the card from NVIDIA partners such as GALAX and Colorful will be released, including air- and liquid-cooled models.
The Main Founders Edition will not be available in China.
