As reported on the Moscow website, the innovations will affect the events that will take place starting March 15, 2025 in the institutions participating in the pilot project. Until that date, performances and concerts can be attended according to the old rules. In addition, the changes will not affect tickets already purchased for dates after March 15.

The order of the Moscow Department of Culture lists 84 government institutions. The list of acceptable documents (14 in total), in addition to the passport, international passport and driving license, includes, for example, a social card, a student card and a personal bank card.

When purchasing a ticket, you will need to provide the document details of the person who plans to attend the event. You must present your identification document at the entrance.

If a buyer buys several tickets at the same time, they must provide the details of each user. Each electronic ticket will be personalized and will also contain a barcode.

In the future, it will also be possible to purchase tickets using a Mos ID linked to an account on the mos.ru portal. The data will be filled in automatically when making the purchase.

The user will be able to show the data controller a QR code from the application without having to provide documents.
