Sociologists from Boston College and University of Dublin have done various experiments within the framework of new scientific study. These tests lasted six months and participated in approximately 3,000 employees from 141 organizations in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Great Britain and the United States. They were asked to reduce their weekly working hours one or four, five to seven or eight hours.
The participants of all three groups that reduce the working day, their health has improved significantly and the performance of burnout and work is reduced. The biggest advantages were the advantages that were reduced by eight hours.
Scientists also believe that this can be useful for the environment. In countries with a shorter working week or a shorter working day, environmental indicators are usually lower.
