According to StatCounter, Windows 11 peaked at 28.16% in February 2024, but its share decreased compared to April, and this trend continued in November.
At the same time, Windows 10 remains in the lead despite the halt of feature updates and the approaching end of support in October 2025.
In January 2024, its share was 66.47%. Although there was a slight decline at that time, it started to grow again in November 2024.
Experts attribute the decline in popularity of Windows 11 to its high system requirements, which make it difficult for users with older hardware to upgrade.
Additionally, Microsoft’s aggressive marketing to promote the new operating system may have the opposite effect, reducing user interest.
