To open a window with details, click on the ruble icon in the upper left corner of the screen. The details are divided into blocks: the cost of supplying a car, the basic rate (the cost of the minutes and kilometers of travel), the surcharge for higher demand and the price of additional options.
Yandex explained that they introduced this feature at the request of passengers. The company believes that with the help of details, users will be able to make a decision: order a taxi now or wait until peak demand drops, choose a different fare or adjust the route.
Previously, the company explained the increase in taxi prices during snowfall and frost by a decrease in the speed of vehicle flow, an increase in the duration of trips and the fact that fewer drivers go to work. The increase in the coefficient is aimed at motivating drivers to get in line.
