Rospotrebnadzor closed two Moremaniya restaurants in Moscow for non-compliance with sanitary requirements

Rospotrebnadzor carried out unscheduled on-site inspections at two restaurants on st. Kyiv, 7 bldg. 2 (JSC SK Service) and Mira Avenue, 211, bldg. 2 (Sevryba LLC). The reason was the Shot report and the corresponding request from a State Duma deputy, the department said. It was sent by Anastasia Udaltsova.

During the inspections, experts identified “serious violations of the requirements of sanitary legislation and legislation in the field of technical regulation.” In particular, the products were stored in violation of the temperature regime, vegetables with signs of rot were found in the refrigeration equipment, and the production facilities were dirty, the press release noted.

The department’s specialists removed 73 kg of culinary products from sale, including semi-finished products and raw materials. Restaurant premises were sealed and protocols against legal entities were drawn up under Article 6.6. Administrative Code (violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for care of the population).

Rospotrebnadzor transferred the materials of administrative cases to district courts so that they could decide to suspend the activities of SK Service JSC and Sevryba LLC for up to 90 days, the regulator specified.

In June 2023, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow suspended the activities of one of the Moremaniya restaurants for 90 days. This happened after a visitor to the establishment was diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection, Rospotrebnadzor reported.
