According to Stacy, Microsoft is “punishing” UK businesses for using rival cloud services by forcing them to pay more for Windows Server, thus limiting competition. He claims that the company is trying to get its customers to migrate to the Azure cloud platform.

There is also an ongoing investigation into cloud computing in the UK, which is currently dominated by AWS (Amazon), Azure (Microsoft) and Google Cloud. This review also includes Windows Server and Microsoft 365 licenses.

The potential compensation amount is over 1 billion pounds (about $1.27 billion).
