If you’re an American citizen, download the Google Wallet app to add your passport, sign in, and follow the instructions to create an ID. The app will help you scan your passport’s security chip and take a video selfie to verify your identity. Google says the process will only take a few minutes.
This digital passport feature is not yet available everywhere. Digital IDs are currently only accepted at certain airports. You can check the TSA website to see which locations support them.
