Developer Sean Hodgins has created an LED facial innovation designed to hide the identity of its wearer. We use 9000 programmable LEDs, including those that allow you to display any images and animations.
The result of a short engineering process including 3D modeling, simulation, electronics design and fine hand assembly. Hodgins used a machine to install the LEDs into the panels, then soldered them together using a regular kitchen roaster. The placement of the panel in a three-dimensional mask on the first cross protrusions and wires that required extreme precision and accuracy.
A variety of high quality LEDs are used. supported by Google Sheets and a dedicated Pixelblaze LED controller, integrated with Raspberry Pi.
