The company plans to sell its devices not only in the government or other regulated sector, but also at retail to the general consumer. Sales of ABR equipment available to everyone will begin at Wildberries in the first quarter of 2025, a market representative told Vedomosti. There was no response to the newspaper’s request from the ABR itself at the time of the article’s publication.

The company’s website states that ABR cooperates with companies such as Lukoil, X5 Retail Group, MTS, Severstal, Rostelecom and Tatneft. The manufacturer’s catalog includes monitors, computer cases, computers, monoblocks and peripherals.

The site also features a separate section for computer components, which is “under development.” The peripherals presented in the ABR catalog are sold in four sets of “keyboard + mouse” format, three of which are designed for office activities and one more for “beginner gamers”. Product prices are not indicated.

According to SPARK, ABR Technology LLC was registered in 2020. The founder, CEO and owner of the company is Alan Gergiev. The registration of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of ABR Technology includes seven models of Ruslan monitors, which received 90 points on the import substitution scale, allowing them to participate in public procurement. The list also included peripheral products from Beshtau Electronics and Nitrinonet’s Newclick keyboard.

The domestic market for peripherals can accommodate at least four manufacturers, says Saveliy Tarasenko, leading product director of the Accessories division at diHouse. “Insufficient quantities of peripherals are produced. Therefore, companies like ABR Technology can be considered partners that will help free the Russian market from products from foreign manufacturers,” he emphasized.

As Artur Makhlayuk, business analyst at F+ tech-Marvel Group, told Kommersant last April, demand for computer peripherals is actively growing in Russia. In the first quarter of 2023 alone, 1.4 million keyboards were sold, 19% more than in the same period in 2022. The market leaders in peripheral sales were Razer, A4Tech and MSI, but the share of the traditionally popular Logitech fell to 8% in the first quarter of last year.
