Sales started on November 27, and 660,000 smartphones were sold on the first day, making it the most successful launch in the history of the series.

According to Redmi CEO Wang Teng Thomas, K80 will be the flagship of 2025. The series includes the basic model Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. Redmi K80 is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 6550 mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging.

The Pro version offers a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 6,000 mAh battery, 120-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging, and an improved triple camera.

Prices start at 2,499 yuan (about $345).
