Oppo Find X8 Pro looks successful at first glance. You can see its features below. You get a great display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, lots of memory (up to 1TB internal and up to 12 or 16GB of RAM), four cameras, and the latest Android. But what actually?

The Chinese version of Oppo Find X8 Pro will have an international warranty in Russia. Therefore, you can order this smartphone from the Middle Kingdom without any problems.

Everything is fine with Find X8 Pro. The device comes with a case, cable and 80W charger. The protective film is immediately adhered to the screen. At the same time, the X7 Ultra had a 100 W power supply, which allowed the device to be charged to 100% in 25 minutes. The new product lasts just over an hour, but the battery capacity has increased to 5910 mAh vs 5000 mAfor X7 Ultra h. Overall, the X8 Pro lasts about an hour longer than the X7 Ultra.

The fingerprint scanner is also placed very inconveniently on the X8 Pro: too low. We also saved money on the sensor. In the same OnePlus 13 there is an ultrasound scanner and it is in a convenient place.

The new Find X8 Pro runs on the Dimensity 9400 processor, although it is a flagship processor, it is not very suitable for games due to limitations.

The module set of the new product is also similar to that of the flagship. This is a 50 MP main lens, two telephoto lenses (3x and 6x, both 50 MP), a 50 MP wide lens and a 32 MP front camera. In practice, the X8 Pro is not at all superior to last year’s X7 Ultra. It also doesn’t need the camera button at all, because you can’t use it to change the scale of photos and videos in portrait mode – only in landscape shooting. You can see photo examples below.

OPPO Find X8 Pro was still no better than last year’s X7 Ultra. As for photography, it was never more engaging in any scenario than the previous Ultra model. This is due to the degraded quality of the rear camera modules as well as the MediaTek processor (which is also heavily throttled). The body of the new product has become lighter and thinner, but ergonomics have not improved: for example, the camera button is located too high. We also saved on the fingerprint scanner and its battery. The latter is twice as weak as that of the X7 Ultra, but on average the phone lasts an hour longer. Overall, the Find X8 Pro is a smartphone you can safely skip right now if you’re planning on upgrading. It’s better to get the OnePlus 13 instead: it costs less and offers the same functions.
