Messages about technical problems with the courier began to arrive at approximately 20:45 Moscow time. Users reported problems loading the site, receiving and sending messages, and establishing an Internet connection.

The peak of complaints about Messenger on Downdetector.com occurred at 21:10 Moscow time. Up to that point, 10,073 users had reported problems. On Downdetector.su and “Sboy.RF” the maximum number of problem reports was 622 and 1,004, respectively.

Failures were also observed in other Meta* services: Facebook*, Instagram*, Facebook Messenger* and Threads. According to Downdetector.com, the problems occurred between residents of different countries, including the US, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Norway and others.

The reasons for the major technical problems are unknown; The company did not comment on the situation.
