The Alliance in AI Association and the Prosveshchenie publishing house have published textbooks on artificial intelligence for the fifth to ninth grades of secondary schools. This was reported by RB.RU in the association’s press service. They noted that these are the first teaching materials of this type in the country.

“The textbooks will allow schoolchildren in grades 5 to 9 to understand the principles of AI, learn to solve practical problems with it, and learn more about the application areas of AI, including examples of companies participating in the Alliance” clarified the press service. .
The project was implemented with the participation of more than 30 leading expert professionals from companies that are members of the association: Sberbank, Yandex, MTS AI, Gazprom Neft, T-Bank and others. The scientific editor was Elena Kazakova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy of St. Petersburg State University and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education.
The manuals are available in print and electronic formats and are also equipped with a digital supplement to develop practical skills in the interfaces of Russian neural networks. The textbooks are currently being reviewed by the Ministry of Education and are planned to be introduced into schools across Russia starting in the 2025-2026 academic year.
The publications are already on sale, the editor of RB.RU is convinced. On the Prosveshcheniya website, textbooks for the fifth, sixth and ninth grades can be purchased for 649 rubles, and for the seventh and eighth grades – for 748 rubles.
