As Softline Venture explained to RB.RU, the joint venture will operate under the Scout Moscow brand. The company presents the new venture as a joint project between Scout, which produces devices and terminals for monitoring, and the venture fund Softline Venture Partners, owner of the Exodrive AI solution. In the near future the joint company will open an office in Moscow.
General Director of the Exodrive project Evgeniy Chernykh added that the priority task will be the development of the insurance telematics market in Russia and that cooperation between Exodrive and Scout will create a competitor for their global counterparts. Chernykh added that Scout is also engaged in “iron production,” which is important due to the departure of foreign companies.
“With the departure of foreign companies, it was important for us to find a partner, not only a software developer, but also a hardware manufacturer that could meet our needs,” said Evgeny Chernykh.
The main task of Scout Moscow will be the implementation of high-tech solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of transport digitalization.
“The combination of services to assess driving quality and reduce accident risks from Exodrive and the Scout Studio fleet management platform contributes to the development of intelligent monitoring and insurance telematics in the Russian Federation,” explained the company. company.
Scout Moscow will specialize in the sale of equipment and the implementation of integrated platform services for fleet management in large transport and logistics companies, industrial enterprises and commercial and production organizations. Customers will be offered fleet monitoring, route optimization and fuel cost management.
Andrey Trofimov estimated the transport surveillance market in Russia at 50 billion rubles. According to him, Scout occupies 12% of the market, but plans to increase its share to 30% by 2026, including through artificial intelligence solutions.
