The lawsuit alleges that the chatbot “exposed children to ‘hypersexual content’ and even encouraged a child to murder their parents due to viewing time restrictions.” The plaintiffs’ attorneys also claim that one of the girls in the case was only nine years old when she was exposed to “hypersexual content,” which led to the “precocious development of her sexual behavior.”
It is stated that chatbots can be configured to imitate different people, including those popular with children and teenagers. This is how such technologies “conquer” the young audience. However, this lawsuit alleges that the chatbot not only engaged in friendly conversations but also pushed children down “dark and dangerous paths.”
