Judging by the SteamOS code, the Fremont could be a TV streaming box, possibly powered by an AMD chip. It could offer a cheaper alternative to consoles, allowing users to stream games from their existing Steam libraries.
Valve may also be planning a wireless VR headset, rumored to be called “Deckard.” According to leaks, this device may be a standalone device that does not require a PC. The headset could potentially include new controllers reminiscent of *Meta controllers.
Additionally, Valve may be developing a new Steam controller. Known as “Ibex”, this device can be equipped with a trackpad for better compatibility with PC games that use mouse control.
However, you shouldn’t expect Steam Deck 2 to be released anytime soon.
