Violated Reality 3: TecMundo’s film about child abuse on the internet is released

THE TecMundo The third episode of the documentary series Realidade Violada starts this Saturday (14) at 2 pm (Brasília time). Official Violated Reality 3: Sexual Predators, film tackles the issue of child abuse on the internet and demonstrates the modus operandi of criminals who sell, store and produce sexual photographs and videos of minors.

The documentary, which lasts approximately 1 hour 40, includes various testimonies from victims, security guards and hackers who help fight these crimes. Check out the trailer:

original documentary TecMundo shown first hand Shopping Eldorado at Cinemark in São Paulo (SP) last Tuesday (10). About 240 people were invited to the preview, including business partners, influencers, executives from cybersecurity companies and employees of NZN, which owns the company. TecMundo.

During the event, journalist and director Felipe Payão told us more about the care taken during the implementation of the project. “Because it’s such a sensitive topic, people are a little hesitant to watch it. So our main challenge was to show it in a way that wouldn’t shock but also showed what’s happening on the internet.”

Renan Pagliarusi, manager of NZN Studios and director of the film, also emphasized that some images and detailed explanations received through complaints were excluded from the production because the subject was a very sensitive one.

“We thought of hiding the statements of some police officers so that the criminals’ methods would not be clear and the victims would not be easily identified,” he said.

Arrests of sexual harassers will increase in 2024

In 2024, the number of arrests made by the Federal Police (PF) against online harassers increased by 36.9%. Between January and October last year, 73 preventive and provisional arrest warrants were issued; Ceará had the most arrests for cybercrimes related to sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

In the same period of 2024, the number of temporary and preventive arrests increased to 100. Also this year, 748 combat operations were carried out by the Federal Police and 53 victims were rescued.
