The technology is based on electroencephalography and allows you to analyze the cognitive state and emotional balance of a person.
The interface will be tested during Arctic Team’s expeditions in 2025. NCI will monitor participants’ fatigue, stress and concentration, helping them adapt their programs and improve safety when working in challenging environments.
The use of technology is especially important for working in polar night, cold and isolation conditions where errors can be critical. The system will be able to warn about the need to rest or adjust the load.
In the future, NCI is planned to be used for climbers, rescuers and shift workers.
By 2035, such interfaces could become the standard for working in harsh environments and make teams safer and more productive.
