Nvidia announced on Tuesday (17) New compact productive AI supercomputer with advanced performance and affordable price. Called the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, it can be used in a variety of commercial and research activities.
The new member of the Jetson Orin Nano AI family, similar in size to Raspberry Pi, offers higher performance at half the cost compared to the previous version. The device delivers 67 TOPS of neural processing, a 70% gain in AI inference, and 50% more memory bandwidth, reaching 102 GB/s.
The developer kit includes an 8GB Jetson Orin Nano system-on-module (SoM) and reference board integrated with a tensor-core Nvidia Ampere GPU and a 6-core ARM CPU. SoM supports up to four cameras with higher resolutions and frame rates, facilitating multiple concurrent AI application pipelines and high-performance inference.

Price and availability
Support for popular AI models such as vision language and vision transformers, among others Nvidia’s Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit costs $249in direct conversion it is equivalent to R$ 1,521 at the daily exchange rate. The new feature on the brand’s website focuses on developers, students and amateurs.
The supercomputer also supports Nvidia AI and a wide range of software that helps create a wide variety of projects. The tech giant claims that the launch is ideal for developing solutions such as AI chatbots, AI visual agents and robots based on the technology.
According to Nvidia, users with Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano series systems will also be able to benefit from a 1.7x productive AI inference performance increase thanks to the JetPack SDK update.
