The video was created in a modified version of Unreal Engine 5 using the NVIDIA RTX 50XX graphics card, which has not yet been revealed and will be announced at CES 2025.
According to CD Projekt RED, the trailer uses the same models and elements that will appear in the final version of the game.
The developers stated that the video shows their desire to convey the style, atmosphere and feeling of The Witcher world using new technologies.
There’s no exact release date yet, but the studio is already actively sharing details.
In interviews with IGN and Easy Allies in December, CD Projekt RED representatives discussed ambitious plans for the project and hinted at a major technical breakthrough with Unreal Engine 5.
