The Elevation Lab company presented a TimeCapsule protective case for AirTag, which managed to increase the tag’s service life to 10 years.
The TimeCapsule can accommodate two AA batteries, the capacity of which is 14 more than the CR2032 battery in the AirTag. The tag itself is placed on the work platform, which replaces the built-in battery and provides continuous power.
The TimeCapsule case is protected from water and dust according to the IP69 standard. The accessory costs $20, batteries are purchased separately.
