One of the biggest problems was the delay in updating the Windows processor power management (PPM) system, which affected CPU performance. Intel also fixed issues with the Application Performance Optimizer (APO) and misconfigured performance settings.

Fixes are available through the latest Windows 11 build 26 100.2161 and BIOS updates. Additionally, the driver compatibility issue with Easy Anti-Cheat has also been resolved.

Intel plans to release additional performance updates in January and will reveal full details at CES.
